About
About Rx For Ohio
Rx For Ohio tracks the real cost of GLP-1 medicines and the rules that decide who pays. The Rx For Ohio desk checks the prices and dates every one.
Our readers are people in Ohio paying for a GLP-1. The manufacturer prices, savings cards and Medicare rules we track are national, so they work the same in Ohio as in any other state. Your own insurance plan's rules are the part to check with your plan.

We write for the person about to pay. That means the number comes first, then what moves it, then what you can do about it. We name the source for every price and say plainly when a figure can't be confirmed.

Editorial standards
- 01Every price is dated and linked to the source page we fetched when we wrote it.
- 02Each page shows its published date and its last-reviewed date.
- 03When we correct a price, the correction is dated on the page.
- 04Price changes go into a public price change log on the homepage.
- 05No affiliate links and no sponsored listings.
- 06No fees accepted from pharmacies or telehealth companies.
How we check a price
We read each price on the page that sets it: the manufacturer's self-pay or savings page, the pharmacy's own listing, the plan document or the government page. We fetch that page on the day we write, and the date goes next to the price as "checked" with the date in MM/DD/YYYY form.
Directly below every price table sits a small source table. It names each page, says what the page states, gives the date we checked it and links to it. Coverage and policy claims link to the CMS page, plan document or IRS publication they come from.
A monthly price always states its basis, such as "per 28-day supply, 4 pens." Per-mg figures are our own arithmetic: the price divided by the total milligrams in that supply, shown to two decimals. We don't round without saying so.
We don't use prices from forums or resellers, and we don't pass on coupon codes from sites we can't verify. Compounded drug prices are labeled "reported" and sourced. If a figure can't be confirmed from a primary source, we leave it out or say so on the page.
How the site is paid for
We don't sell anything. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored listings, and no money from pharmacies or telehealth companies. Links on this site point to the source of a fact, never to a checkout.
